Self-care means taking physical, mental, psychological, and spiritual health care personally. It is a constant and routine activity that requires to be done on daily basis. Similarly, there are several ways to take self-care for women and teenagers. In this regard, I have interviewed Fatima Abbasi (a teenager) who is very much keen on her self-care routine activities.
This blog article is therefore a case study research as I have also included views and expert opinion of Dr. Fauzia Abbasi (a professional lady doctor) who is also the mother of Fatima Abbasi. 
Additionally, these self-care tips are general in context rather specific to health and skin care. On the other hand, before recommending these self-care tips I have conducted prior research including seeking expert advice from a professional lady doctor. Let’s now find these “Top 15 Self-Care Tips For Women” one by one and with lucid explanations. 
Tip: 1 Sleep Well, Wakeup, & Drink Lemon Water, Honey, or Coffee
Fatima (An O-Level Student) ensures proper and deep sleep regularly. Similarly, soon after waking up, she drinks lemon juice mixed with water, Honey, and coffee at regular intervals. Thanks to her (doctor) mother that gives her expert advice to activate her metabolic system. Honey, lemon, and coffee have several benefits including activating and regulating our metabolic system.
Tip: 2 Move Your Body or Do Some Workout
After drinking lemon water, honey, and coffee Fatima does some workouts on a regular basis. She either goes inside a small garden area at her home or moves her body a bit inside her room. However, she prefers to do workouts inside her room when the weather is so cold and rainy. Dr. Abbasi says that regular workout habit is so important for taking self-care.
Tip: 3 Take a Shower With Fresh Water Early In The Morning
There is nothing that can amuse us more than taking shower with fresh water after doing some workouts. A morning bath is so important in terms of health and taking personal care point of view. Therefore, one should take an early morning shower before breakfast. Similarly, various research studies prove that a morning bath is a health-friendly activity.
Tip: 4 Have a Healthy Breakfast
Fatima believes that a healthy breakfast is a key to maintaining her self-care routine. She quite often likes to have a protein-rich breakfast before leaving for her school. Similarly, she keeps on changing her breakfast menu to make it tasty and flavorful so that she may have it properly and eagerly. Additionally, it is a well-known fact that a healthy breakfast has many health-related benefits. This is why doctors urge us to have a protein-rich breakfast.
Tip: 5 Plan Your Routine Activities
Planning routine activities is so advantageous in terms of proper time management and saving. Similarly, when we manage our time we become able to spend some leisure time on our self-care activities. Research suggests that we require some time to reflect on our daily activities including thinking and pre-planning things. Additionally, when we plan our routine activities, we finish off routine tasks properly and hence feel happy, relaxed, and contended.
Tip: 6 Never Compromise Your Diet Plan
Food and nutrition experts believe that everyone should take great care of his/her diet plan. Similarly, research suggests that following a proper and healthy diet plan not only keeps us healthy and fit but also helps us to stay happy and positive. This is why Fatima says that she never compromises her diet plan. She plans her diet plan on weekly basis and gets it checked by her mother (Dr. Fauzia Abbasi).
Tip: 7 Drink Enough Water
Dr. Abbasi says that water is so important for our skin, metabolism, muscle movement, and organs’ proper functioning. She believes that water is life itself. This is why she advises her daughter (Fatima Abbasi) to drink enough water daily. Similarly, Dr. Abbasi not only advises her daughter but also ensures that her daughter drinks enough water and juices.
Tip: 8 Eat Seasonal Fruits On Daily Basis
Dr. Abbasi explained to me that fruits provide us with essential vitamins, anti-oxidants, minerals, and carbohydrates. Similarly, fruits keep our body hydrated and help build our muscles, tissues, and body cells. However, she urged that we must either eat or drink juices of seasonal fruits on daily basis. Additionally, Dr. Abbasi suggests her daughter avoid packed and processed fruit juices as they contain artificial sugars and colors.
Tip: 9 Stay Emotionally Positive
Various research studies suggest that if you want to take self-care of yourself, you must stay emotionally positive. In this regard, we need to think positively, talk positively, act positively, and feel positive all the time. Similarly, we need to avoid anger, frustration, and such situations that may leave a negative impact on our emotions.
Tip: 10 Spend Time With Family, Friends, & Loved Ones Regularly
Spending some time with family, friends, and our loved ones helps us to stay mentally relaxed and happy. Thus we can say that staying mentally relaxed and happy is one of the important aspects of taking self-care. Therefore, try to spend some time with your family and friends and stay light-hearted and mentally relaxed.
Tip: 11 Perform Religious Obligations Regularly
Religion is a set of someone’s beliefs, perceptions, practices, and moral as well as ethical values. Religion is personal for every individual. However, it helps to develop values, build virtue-based character, and teach sacrifices. Therefore, performing religious obligations give us spiritual satisfaction and thus paves the way toward inner satisfaction and self-care.
Tip: 12 Express Gratitude Who Help & Support You
When you express gratitude to someone who helps and supports you, you reflect on yourself as a nice human being who values others’ sacrifices and virtues. Similarly showing gratitude and saying thank you to the ones who help you ( including your parents & teachers) causes you happiness and release of a mental burden. Hence adopt this virtue if you want to take care of yourself.
Tip: 13 Help Others When They Need Your Support
Helping others who need our support and care make us loving, caring, and responsible human being. Similarly, it is our social, moral, ethical, and religious responsibility to help others. There are so many ways to help and support others. However, we must help and support our parents, friends, neighbors, relatives, and senior citizens.
Tip: 14 Wear Your Favorite Clothes & Shoes
Whenever we wear our favorite clothes and shoes it feels good and gives us satisfaction. Similarly, wearing nice clothes and other accessories make us happy and psychologically eased and relaxed. Additionally, decent clothes leave a positive impact on our attitude and behavior. We also feel confident when we wear our favorite clothes and shoes. Thus we indirectly take self-care of our personality and positive outlook.
Tip: 15 Do Travel & Enjoy Your Annual Holidays
Taking a break from routine activities is so important so that we may recharge ourselves and take a fresh start from the beginning. For such a break, we need a long holiday to travel, enjoy, and have some fun time. Similarly, enjoying holidays means taking a self-care as it leaves so many positive impacts on our mental and physical health.
