Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez have been pals since their former careers. Since then, the two have had fashionable moments on red carpets and during Swift’s tours. They’ve donned glitzy gowns, daring crop tops, and a plethora of sequins.
In 2008, Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift made their first red-carpet appearance together.
Selena Gomez wore a grey satin minidress with sheer sleeves and a bubble skirt to the premiere of “Another Cinderella Story.” She wore minimal jewellery and a brown belt that was loosely knotted around her waist.
Swift chose a white, sleeveless minidress with crystals over the bodice to show her support for her pal on the red carpet.
They then complimented one other at an Oscars after-party in 2011.
Gomez wore a crimson Dolce & Gabbana gown with a deep-V neckline, satin belt, and floor-length skirt. Swift also wore gold earrings, which complemented her gold, sequin-covered minidress by Zuhair Murad.
Swift’s strapless dress was very different from Gomez’s, but the musician’s red lipstick tied their outfits together.
A few months later, the celebrity couple lighted up the American Music Awards in their silver gowns.
Swift donned her signature sparkles in a strapless gown made by Reem Acra. The first layer was constructed of tan opaque cloth, and the mesh overlay was embellished with multicolored sequins.
That night, Gomez stood out in a silver Armani gown. It featured a plunging halter neckline, a thigh-high split in the skirt, and a fringe-detailed belt that wrapped around her waist.
Swift and Gomez appeared to coordinate their clothes for the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
Both musicians donned navy-blue gowns with a provocative twist to the event.
Hervé Léger created Swift’s sleeveless bandage dress. It had a plunging neckline, glitter throughout the bodice, and a floor-length straight skirt.
However, Gomez’s Versace style was undoubtedly more daring. Her long-sleeved gown was split along the front, showing a transparent corset beneath. It also had a tall split in its skirt that was lined with blue gemstones.
The longtime pals stepped out in style once again at the 2014 American Music Awards.
Gomez wore three ensembles during the awards show, but she was seen with Swift in a black gown with a plunging neckline.
The latter wore a green gown with a mesh panel over her shoulders and a waist cutout. The look was created by Michael Kors.
