Peter Obi who is also known as Obedience hails from Onitsha, Anambra State. He was born on the 19th of July 1961. He completed his Secondary education at Christ the King College Onitsha. After leaving secondary school, he was admitted to the University of Nigeria (Nsuka) where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy in the year 1984 respectively.
Peter Obi Obedience enrolled at the Lagos Business School and other professional courses in and outside Nigeria. Afterward, he was a banker for several years, holding many Executive positions. He picked huge interest in politics and ran for the Anambra State gubernatorial election under the umbrella of the All Progressive Grand Alliance APGA in 2003. For the fact that the election was in his favor, he was not declared as the winner, but Chris Ngige was declared as the winner of the guber polling. After several judicial interventions, Obedience announced the winner in 2007 until he was re-elected to office in 2010.
Mr. Obi is currently running for the presidential seat in Nigeria under the canopy of the Labour Party (LP) started in 2022. The election is held on February 25, 2023. Mr. Peter Obi’s presidential movement is currently described as the most popular political movement in the 2023 presidential race, as the campaign is massively supported by Nigerian youths and young.

He is best known for his simple dresses and most of the time, he likes to rock ordinary black or dark grey colors.
