Bra and bra sizes are quite challenging, especially among teenage girls and young ladies. It seems that there is trouble in choosing the right bra. Ladies are fond of buying bras from online shops and physical shops without fitting in, only to reach home and find out that it is either oversize or undersized. This could be not calming, more reasons why you deserve to read this article.

If you got a tape measure in your house, you have already solved half of your problems. We must all confess that a bra fitting in a public store could be quite embarrassing. By knowing your right size, you don’t have to undergo all the trouble of fitting bras in public stores, right?

Any lady here who has worn an ill-fitting bra knows the trouble it can cause you throughout the day. Breast pains and backaches as a result of ill-fitting bras are real. Here are some of the ideal steps to determine your right bra fitting.

1. How to determine your band size:

While standing in front of a mirror braless, use a simple tape measure to get the distance around your torso directly under your bust where the bra band sits. Make sure the tape is level. If the size is an even number, add four inches. For instance, if you got a bra band of around 32 inches, add four inches, and your band size is 38.

2. How to take your burst measurements:

The fullest part of your chest is right at the nipple level. Wrap the measuring tape across the nipple all the way to your back. Take the measurements and round to the nearest number.

3. Finally calculate your cup size:

Subtract your calculated band size (Step 1) from your bust measurement (Step 2) and refer to the bra cup size chart here. Your bra size is your band size with your cup size. Example: 37 inches (bust) – 34 inches (band) = 3 inches. That’s a 34C.
