Hey, guys, I am sharing with you how to make Hoop Tassel Earrings! There are similar ones I found on the Anthro site and I knew they would be super simple to recreate.

I found some great gold earring hoop findings that you just add a hook to, so all I had to do was add a tassel, assemble and wear.

Supplies:

  • Hoop earring findings
  • Earring hooks
  • Embroidery floss: white (14m), navy blue (8 m), cotton cording
  • Hot glue & gun
  • Jump rings: oval-shaped
  • Jewelry making pliers
  • Sharp scissors

Instructions:

These are super simple to make, so let’s get started!

Feed the embroidery floss through an oval-shaped jump ring.

Fold it in half. Tie a short piece of floss in a knot around the folded floss. Wrap the floss ends around the tassel and hot glue them down.

Add an oval jump ring over the floss ends.

Trim the ends of the floss. Use a hair comb to separate the strands and smooth out the ends of the tassel. Trim again if needed.

Attach the jump ring to the earring hoop. Then attach the hoop to a hook and repeat to make two earrings and that’s it! So fun and trendy to wear!
