True to the saying, good things come in pairs. My current favorite must-have is the famous two-piece shorts set. You can easily style it up or use each piece separately and create a glamorous look. You can find this set piece on either Amazon or Shein.

They are originally gym sets but can easily be dressed up to be worn for any event other than going to the gym.

I have come up with a collage with examples of how best to style up the set piece. In this article, I share more details on how well to dress it up.

1. Flannel Shirt

You can never go wrong with a flannel shirt. Pick a pattern that compliments the look. You easily use the shirt as an accessory by tying it around your waist or you can choose to put it on, either way, it works just fine.

This is an errand type of look, very comfy yet stylish.

2. Blazer.

One of the best pieces that actually adds an edge to an outfit, regardless of how you choose to dress it up. A blazer elevates an outfit.

You can pair it up with a blazer whether it’s a plain or a printed one. You can choose to either wear this with heels or sneakers. This look is perfect for a brunch date, an event, or a concert. Any event that you want to show up and show out, this is the look for you.

3. A long denim coat.

You can never go wrong with denim. Pairing the shorts set with denim works just fine if you want a simple yet thought-out kind of outfit.

4. Denim shorts.

You can swap the lounge shorts with denim shorts. It is perfect to break the monotony by creating a whole new look.

5. Accessorize.

Accessories can help elevate a simple look to an elegant look. You can either add statement jewelry, a pair of sunglasses or an elegant purse. Whichever option you choose, make sure it works well to compliment your look.

You can now dress up that amazing two-piece shorts set you’ve been saving up for the gym. In case you don’t have one, get yourself and style it up. I’d love to see it!
