For this reason, it’s critical that you diligently monitor your blog traffic to ensure that your account is compliant with our policies and not accruing inauthentic traffic. - Avoid partnering with nontrustworthy / low-quality parties
Some publishers have had issues with invalid traffic when partnering with low-quality ad networks, search engines, or directory sites in efforts to increase traffic to their blogs. While we do allow you to promote your blogs on social networks, forums etc, it is against our policy to purchase traffic to your blogs either in ads or other means.
- Don’t click on your own blogs, even if you think it’s okay to do it
Even if you’re interested in your blog or looking for its destination URL, clicking on your own blogs is still prohibited. Keep in mind that even when we filter clicks on your own blogs, we don’t ignore those clicks completely; if it appears to us that a publisher has been clicking on his own blogs to inflate his earnings, we may disable the account to protect our advertisers and members.
- Double- and triple-check your implementation
Some publishers use custom implementations that may have unintended consequences on their blog views. Make sure your implementation conforms to our terms of service and has no programming errors..
