Yes You can lose weight with some home workout and if you want you can join the gym also.
Whatever you do make sure drink plenty of water which is very helpful to lose weight and most important thing is to sleep well at least 7 to 8 hours. After that avoid junk food as much as you can. Do not eat chips to much. And try to do some walk everyday.
If you follow this step then within a month you will see change in yourself.
