Fashionably late to my own party seems acceptable and well a bit relieving.(gotta check that out of my bucket list). I mean…….. turning 21 is such a milestone that’s celebrated a lot in my country(FIJI for you) hehehe. Hi everybody, it’s Andrea here with one of my fashion fail stories that happened 2 weeks ago on my 21st bday.
So a day before the huge celebration, my dearest Father got me a dress that I had in mind and well…..I was super excited to wear it which I did.
THEN…..
I DIDN’T LIKE IT ONE BIT!!
No offense to girls who like short dresses but……I clearly didn’t like this one. It was ridiculously short and just horrible. I mean ….true that it is a celebration but all my elders will be here, people I respect and then I got a short dress, like as if I’d wear that to my party.
So I politely asked my Father to take it back and ask for a longer, below-the-knee one.
AND…
Let me tell you, my Dad is an artist…..like legit, he can draw anything and anyone, I mean anyone and anything. He is really good with his hands, drawing, even planning and designing houses. He’s done it all. So, he used that artistic side of his to fix up my dress and well………something so horribly done can be done beautifully by someone who knows you and is dear to you.
I LOVED THE OUTCOME OF THE DRESS!!!
It was beautifully done…….
Apologies for no pics, I was really busy having fun that day that I didnt bother to take pics of my nicely done dress.
But……all in all, fashion do exist everywhere and the best way to express yourself is to BE YOURSELF 🙂
