Day 3 of the Bombay Times Fashion Week 2022 was as exciting as ever! I’m always amazed at how every year, young upcoming designers manage to surprise and impress. The showstopper of today’s showcase was Suryan Kundanram with his black & white collection. The subtle detailing on each of his creations is crisp and adds a contemporary touch to what would have otherwise been boring.

Designer Rahul Mishra presented an eco-friendly collection on the third day of the Bombay Times Fashion Week. He called this his first “green” show and it was a total success.

Mishra has been working on his eco-friendly designs for three years now and he finally took the plunge at BTFF 2022.

The collection had a distinct Indian flavor with lots of hand embroidery, gold and silver details, and lots of beading.

The highlight of this collection was definitely the outfits made from recycled plastic bottles. They were made by recycling them into something beautiful and wearable. The models came on stage wearing these outfits which looked absolutely gorgeous!

Mishra said that he used to hate plastic until he realized that there are many ways to reuse it and make something beautiful out of it. This is how he came up with his idea to recycle plastic bottles into clothes, bags etc., so they can be reused again and again instead of throwing them away after use.

He also revealed that he plans to make more eco-friendly collections in future too!
