According to research compiled by Hokkaido University in Japan, matcha may also have immune system-boosting benefits as well as anti-cancer effects because it contains high levels of antioxidants called polyphenols.
Matcha tea comes from green tea leaves which are ground into a fine powder, thus making it easier to ingest than traditional teas or powders. Although you may find matcha flavor strong at first, most people enjoy its rich flavor after just a few sips!
2) Carrot Juice
Carrots are loaded with vitamins A and C, which work together to produce collagen. Collagen is essential in keeping your skin youthful, as it keeps your connective tissue strong. Drinking carrot juice every morning will help keep a healthy glow on your face.
Make sure to purchase organic and fresh carrots if you’re going to drink them regularly; they should not have thick layers of wax or other preservatives on them.
3) Turmeric Milk Drinks for glowing skin
Turmeric is a vibrant yellow spice known as The Golden Spice. Made from ground-up roots of a plant found in India, turmeric is said to have anti-inflammatory properties. You can consume it raw or cooked, but a great way to get turmeric into your system quickly is to add it to milk.
You will need 1 cup of almond milk or any other low-sugar and dairy-free milk of choice; 1⁄2 tsp turmeric powder; 2 drops of lemon juice (optional); 2 drops of honey (optional). You’ll find Aloe Vera juice in many skincare products because it has remarkable healing powers on wounds and burns. You can use it topically, too: Just apply a thin layer on your face after cleansing, leave it on for a few minutes, then rinse with cool water. Your skin will be left soft and revitalized.
5) Cucumber Water Drinks for glowing skin
Cucumber contains a high water content, which means it’s full of hydration. The more hydrated your body is, the more radiant your skin will look. Cucumber also has natural anti-inflammatory properties that help to calm breakouts and eliminate redness. Drink up!
